Jesus said, "Copy me. I came from heaven. But I did not come here for you to do something for me. No way! I came here to do something for you. I came here to let others kill me. All people have done bad things. All people are far away from God. God is ready to punish them. But I came to take people's punishment. I came to make the way for people to be right with God" (Mark 10:45, The B-I-B-L-E).
We heard news about you. And we started praying for you right away. We pray lots for you. We pray that God will help you know what he wants you to do. God has a good plan for your life. We pray that God will help you know his plan. We pray that you will make good choices. We pray that you will understand God's Word. Then you will be careful about how you live. Then you will do what is right. Then you will make God happy. Then you will do lots of good things. Then you will keep on growing to know God better and better.
"Some people are good at sports. They have to work hard to be strong. They have to work hard to be fast. They want to win the race. They want to win the game. they want to get a prize. What do you want to do? God will help you do much better things than that. You can only do those amazing things when God is the ruler of your life. God will make you strong. "There is only one way to be right with God. It is by trusting in Jesus. No one can ever be right with God by obeying rules. But maybe someone will say that you need to obey rules. Maybe someone will say that you need to obey rules to be right with God. Then they are not trusting in Jesus anymore. Then they are back in their old life. Then they are trying to do enough good things to be right with God" (Galatians 2:18, The B-I-B-L-E).
"Jesus made the way for people to be right with God. People can trust in Jesus. Then they can be part of God’s family. Then they will be part of the church. Jesus is the head of the church. Jesus gives gifts to people. People need to use their gifts to be a blessing to the church. Everyone in the church has an important job to do. Then everyone can keep on growing to know God better and better. Then the church will do God’s work. Then the church will grow. Then the church will trust in Jesus more and more. Then everyone in the church will show love to each other"
"We did lots of bad things. So we were far away from God. But God still loved us. God sent Jesus to die for us. But Jesus did not stay dead. God made Jesus come alive again. Jesus made the way for us to be right with God. Jesus gave us a new life. Jesus is the ruler of our new life. Sin is not the ruler of our life anymore. We could not save ourselves. We could not get rid of our sins by ourselves. But God is super kind. God really loves us. So he made the way to save us" (Ephesians 2:5, The B-I-B-L-E).
