Be a good example for others

"Salt makes food taste good. And salt makes food last a long time. You are like salt. You need to be like good salt. Then you can help people know what is right. You can be a good example for others. You can help others say 'no' to bad things. But if salt does not taste salty anymore, then it is no good. People cannot make it taste salty again. People will throw that salt away. Is that like you? Do you do bad things? Are you a bad example for others? Oh-oh. Then you are far away from God. Then you do not help others know what is right. Then God will punish you" (Matthew 5:13, The B-I-B-L-E).

Jesus will come back soon

"Now we live in the world. But our time in the world is almost done. Jesus will come back soon. So we need to stop doing bad things. We need to say 'no' to bad things. We need to do the things that make God happy."
(Romans 13:12, The B-I-B-L-E)

Always try to make God happy

"Before, you were far away from God. You did bad things. But now you are trusting in Jesus. God forgave your sins. God gave you a new life. Let God be the ruler of your life. Love God with your whole heart. Stay close to God. Use self-control. Make yourself do what is right. Always try to make God happy."
(Romans 6:13, The B-I-B-L-E)

Jesus is just the best gift!

"We should all tell God 'thank you.' God gave us the best gift of all! God sent Jesus to die for our sins. Jesus took our punishment. Jesus made the way for us to be right with God. Jesus made the way for God to take away our sins. Jesus is just the best gift! Jesus is the most awesome gift! We do not even know any words to tell how awesome Jesus is!" (2 Corinthians 9:15, The B-I-B-L-E)

Knowing Jesus is just the best thing

"Jesus is my Lord. Jesus is the ruler of my life. Knowing Jesus is just the best thing. I want to keep on growing to know Jesus better and better. I do not want to mess around with other things. The other things are just like trash. They are not important at all" (Philippians 3:8, The B-I-B-L-E).

Jesus' love is the most important thing in my life

"Jesus' love is amazing. Jesus' love is the most important thing in my life. My heart is full of Jesus' love. It makes me want to do what is right. It makes me want to work hard. It makes me care about you. We have all done bad things. Jesus died for our sins. Jesus took our punishment. Now we are trusting in Jesus. Jesus gave us a new life. Jesus is the ruler of our life. Sin is not the ruler of our life anymore. It is like our old self died with Jesus. That old life is done. Sin cannot hold us tight anymore."
(2 Corinthians 5:14, The B-I-B-L-E)

Jesus is always on their side

"All people have done bad things. Their sins make them be far away from God. They cannot get right with God by themselves. But Jesus died for their sins. Jesus took their punishment. So people need to trust in Jesus. They need to ask God to forgive their sins. Then they will be right with God. Then God will take away their sins. Then they will have eternal life. And Jesus is always asking God to help them. Jesus is always asking God to make them strong to do what is right. Jesus is always asking God to help them say "no" to bad things. Jesus is always on their side" (Hebrews 7:25, The B-I-B-L-E).

Do God's work before it is too late

"God sent me here. God gave me a job to do. I need to do what God wants me to do. God gives work to all of us. We need to do God's work right away. We cannot wait until the end of our life. Then our time to work will be done. Then it will be too late to do what God wants us to do" (John 9:4, The B-I-B-L-E).

Jesus came to make the way for people to be right with God

"All people have done bad things. So they are far away from God. God is ready to punish them. But Jesus came to make the way for people to be right with God. Some people know that Jesus died for their sins. They know that Jesus took their punishment. They are trusting in Jesus. So God will take away their sins. God will not punish them. But other people think that they are OK. They think that they do not need Jesus. They do not trust in Jesus. So God will punish them" (John 3:18, The B-I-B-L-E).

Our words show what is in our heart

"Some people keep good ideas in their heart. So they do good things. They are careful about how they live. Other people keep bad ideas in their heart. So they do bad things. The words that people say show what is in their heart. The things that people do show what is in their heart" (Luke 6:45, The B-I-B-L-E).

Love God with your whole heart

"Jesus said, 'Love God with your whole heart. Love God with every part of you. You want a lot of things. You feel a lot of things. You think a lot of things. All of those things need to show that you love God'"
(Matthew 22:37, The B-I-B-L-E).

"You saved us from our sins!"

"Then I saw lots and lots and lots of people. There were too many people to count. No one could ever count them all. They came from all around the world. They came from every country. They came from every people-group. They came from every language. They were standing in front of God's throne. They were standing in front of Jesus. Jesus is like a lamb. They had white robes. They were holding palm branches in their hands. They shouted, "God, you sit on the throne! Jesus, you are like a lamb! You saved us from our sins! You are the winners over Satan!" (Revelation 7:9-10, The B-I-B-L-E).

The best kind of exercise

"It is good to exercise. It is good to walk. It is good to run. That is good for your body. But there is another kind of exercise. Do what is right. Obey God's Word. Pray. Be kind to others. That kind of exercise is super important. That kind of exercise will help you in every way. Then God will be happy with you. God will bless you now on the earth. And you can live with God in heaven forever" (1 Timothy 4:8, The B-I-B-L-E).

Jesus will stick up for us

"Jesus died for our sins. Then God made Jesus come alive again. Now Jesus is in the important place in heaven. Jesus is the ruler with God in heaven. Jesus is always on our side. Jesus is always asking God to help us. So no one can say that we are bad. Jesus will stick up for us. Jesus will say that he died for our sins. Jesus will say that we belong to him"
(Romans 8:34, The B-I-B-L-E).

Jesus made the way for you to be right with God

"You are my friends. Listen to me. Your sins made you be far away from God. God was ready to punish you. You have God's rules. But you could not get right with God by obeying the rules. But God sent Jesus to the earth. Jesus died for your sins. Jesus took your punishment. But Jesus did not stay dead. God made Jesus come alive again. Jesus made the way for you to be right with God. Jesus made the way for God to forgive your sins" (Acts 13:38, The B-I-B-L-E).

We can help others the way God helps us

Paul wrote to the church in Corinth: "We have hard times. We have lots of problems. But God always helps us feel better. God helps us have a happy heart. God helps us keep on going. So now we can help others. Others have hard times too. Others have problems too. God already helped us. So now we can help others. We can help others the way God helps us" (2 Corinthians 1:4, The B-I-B-L-E).

That was just like being kind to me!

"The good people will say, 'Lord, when were you hungry? And when did we give you food? When were you thirsty? And when did we give you something to drink?' I will say, 'You were kind to other people in God's family. Maybe they were not important at all. But they were your brothers and sisters in God's family. That was just like being kind to me!'"
(Matthew 25:37,40, The B-I-B-L-E).

Do what is right no matter what happens!

"Jesus said, 'Do you want to follow me? Do you want to be close to me? Then stop thinking only about yourself. Stop thinking only about what you want. Stop trying to do only what you like. You need to be ready for hard times. People will hurt you. People will make fun of you. You need to be ready for that. You need to do what is right no matter what happens. You need to obey me no matter what happens. Then you can be my follower'" (Matthew 16:24, The B-I-B-L-E).

Who is the ruler of your life?

"Who is the ruler of your life? You cannot have two rulers. You can only have one ruler of your life. Is God the ruler of your life? Do you love him with your whole heart? Do you always try to obey him? Do you always think about making him happy? Or do you like money best of all? Do you like your toys best of all? Do you like your nice things best of all? Then you do not love God with your whole heart. You have to choose. Only one thing can be the ruler of your life" (Matthew 6:24, The B-I-B-L-E).

I am like a shepherd

Jesus said, "I came from heaven. I came to find people who are far away from God. I am like a shepherd. I am looking for lost sheep. I came to make the way for people to be right with God. I came to make the way for God to forgive people's sins" (Luke 19:10, The B-I-B-L-E).

Be like Jesus

"We should be like Jesus. Then others can see what Jesus is like. Let Jesus be the ruler of your life. Let Jesus be the Lord of your life. Then you will not keep on thinking about bad things. Then you will say "no" to bad things. Then you will try to make God happy" (Romans 13:13, The B-I-B-L-E).

Try very hard to do what is right

"Kids have lots of ideas. They want to try lots of things. they want to be free to do their own thing. But sometimes they think that bad things look fun. Sometimes they make bad choices. Oh-oh! Do not copy the bad things that they do. Try very hard to do what is right. Keep your life pure. Keep God's Word in your heart. Obey God's Word. Love God with your whole heart. Have peace with other Christians. Do not have little fights in the church"
(2 Timothy 2:22, The B-I-B-L-E).

God's eternal blessings!

"We have all done bad things. We are far away from God. Sin is the ruler of our life. We could not get right with God by ourselves. We could not get right with God by obeying the rules. God was ready to punish us. Then God sent Jesus to the earth. Jesus died for our sins. Jesus made the way for us to be right with God. We are sorry for our sins. We know that Jesus took our punishment. We are trusting in Jesus. So Jesus gave us a new life. Jesus is the ruler of our new life. Sin is not the ruler of our life anymore. So we will live with God in heaven forever. We will have all of God's blessings" (Hebrews 9:15, The B-I-B-L-E).

We knew that it was true!

"Long ago, the prophets told that Jesus would die. And long ago, the prophets told that Jesus would come alive again. God's Word tells all about that. But we did not understand that before. We needed to see the empty cave. We needed to see the cloth folded there. Then we knew that Jesus came alive again! We knew that it was true!" (John 20:9, The B-I-B-L-E).

I came to save people

"People are far away from God. Their sins make them be far away from God. God is ready to punish them. But I [Jesus] came from heaven. I came to the earth. I came to make the way for people to be right with God. I came to make the way for God to forgive their sins. Then God will not punish them for their sins. I did not come to judge people. I came to save people. But some people do not obey my words. They do not want to trust in me"
(John 12:47, The B-I-B-L-E).

There is no one else like you!

"Simon Peter said, 'Lord, we will not go away from you! There is no one else like you! Only you tell us God's words! Only you tell us how to be right with God! Only you tell us how to have eternal life! We are trusting in you! We know that you are true! We know that you came from God! We are sure about that!'"
(John 6:68-69, The B-I-B-L-E).

Now Jesus lives in me

"Jesus loves me. Jesus died on the cross. Jesus died for my sins. He took my punishment. It is like I died with him. Well, I did not really die. I keep on living. But I do not do my own thing anymore. My old life is done. I am trusting in Jesus. Jesus gave me a new life. Jesus is the ruler of my new life. Now Jesus lives in me" (Galatians 2:20, The B-I-B-L-E).

God can do way more than we can imagine!

"We try to think about how great God is. But our ideas are too small. We try to think about the amazing things that God can do. But our ideas are too small. God is way greater than any of our ideas! God can do way more than we can imagine! We just need to let God be the ruler of our life. Then we can ask him to do great things. But he can do way more than we ask for! We can try to think of the best things that we want God to do. But God can do way more than we can imagine! (Ephesians 3:20, The B-I-B-L-E).

Only one way!

"Our sins make us be far away from God. There is only one way to get rid of our sins. There is only one way to be saved. It is by trusting in Jesus. God sent Jesus to the earth. Jesus made the way for us to be right with God" (Acts 4:12, The B-I-B-L-E).
