God gave the Apostle Paul a big job to do.

"Then Ananias said to Paul, 'The people who came before us loved God. We love God too. God chose you. God will tell you what to do. God let you see Jesus. God let you hear Jesus talk. Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus is the one that God sent to the earth. God has a job for you. He wants you to tell the Good News about Jesus in every place. Tell everyone the things you have seen. Tell everyone the things you have heard'" (Acts 22:14-15, The B-I-B-L-E).

Just say "no!"

"Do not keep bad ideas in your heart. Do not make bad choices. Stop and think before you do something. Ask yourself, 'Is this a good thing to do?' Do not copy the bad things that others do. Just say 'no!' Remember that Jesus died for you. Remember that Jesus is with you. Keep on trusting in Jesus. Keep on thinking about God’s Word. There are Christians all around the world. They are all having hard times. They are just like you. The Devil is trying to trick them too"
(1 Peter 5:9, The B-I-B-L-E).

They shared with each other.

"Lots of people were trusting in Jesus. Then they were part of the church. The people in the church met together a lot. They always shared with each other. They shared their things. They always praised God. They kept on telling how great God is. It was fun to share. It was fun to be kind. It made them happy. All of the other people in Jerusalem said that the people in the church were good. New people came to the church every day. They wanted to be right with God. They wanted to be part of God’s family too" (Acts 2:44,47, The B-I-B-L-E).

Some people will trust in Jesus

"Jesus died on the cross. But he did not stay dead. God made Jesus came alive again. Jesus stayed on the earth for 40 more days. He kept on visiting his friends. He wanted them to know that he was alive. He wanted them to be sure about that. Jesus talked to them. He told them that some people will trust in him. They will be sorry for their sins. God will forgive their sins. Then they will be right with God. God will give them a new life. God will be the ruler of their new life" (Acts 1:3, the B-I-B-L-E).

Jesus is awesome

"Jesus is awesome. Jesus is perfect. Jesus shows us what God the Father is like. They are always together. God the Father is God. And Jesus is God. Jesus takes care of everything that he made. He keeps things in their right place. He is stronger than anything. That is how he can hold the world together. Jesus died on the cross. He never did any sins. He died for our sins. He took our punishment. He made the way for us to be right with God. Jesus finished that job. Then he went back to heaven. He is with God the Father. Now Jesus is in the important place in heaven. Jesus is awesome" (Hebrews 1:3, The B-I-B-L-E).

Jesus is waiting

"Jesus said, 'I will come back again.' Jesus made a promise. But some people think that Jesus is too slow. They think that Jesus will not keep his promise. They think that Jesus will never come back. Do not think that way! Jesus is not being slow. He is not waiting too long. He is patient. He cares about you. He does not want anyone to be far away from God. He does not want to punish anyone. So he is patient. He is waiting for more people to be sorry for their sins. He is waiting for more people to get right with God"
(2 Peter 3:9, The B-I-B-L-E).

The war in your heart

"Sin used to be the ruler of your life. Your old self likes to do bad things. Your old self thinks it is fun to do bad things. That is the way you used to live. But now the Holy Spirit lives in you. He is the ruler of your life. He helps you want to do what is right. He helps you want good things. There is like a war in your heart. Those two things are always fighting. Your old self wants you to do bad things. The Holy Spirit wants you to do what is right. Every day you have to make lots of choices. Who is winning the war in your heart? Is your old self winning the war in your heart? Or is the Holy Spirit winning the war in your heart?" (Galatians 5:17, The B-I-B-L-E).
