People cannot give you peace in your heart. So do not worry. Do not keep on thinking about problems. Do not be scared. You will have my peace in your heart even when things are hard'"
"Jesus said, 'There are bad things all around you. There are bad ideas all around you. Those things are like darkness all around you. You do not know what is right. But I am like a light. I am like a light for all of the people in the world. I tell people the truth about God. I show them how to be right with God. I show them how to have eternal life'" (John 8:12, The B-I-B-L-E).
"Jesus said, 'What do you do when you are sick? Well, you go to a doctor. A doctor is for people who are sick. When you are well, you do not go to a doctor. That is like me. I came here to help people who know that they are bad. They know that they are far away from God. I tell them to stop doing bad things. I tell them to come to me. Other people think that they are good. They think that they are OK. They think that they do not need to trust in me'" (Luke 5:31-32, The B-I-B-L-E).
"What does it mean to be part of God's family? How do you show that Jesus is the ruler of your life? Do you need to say big words? Do you need to say important things? No way! God will not judge you by the things that you say. God will look at your heart. God will check if you love him with your whole heart. When you trusted in Jesus, he gave you a new life. Is God the ruler of your life? Do you do what is right? Do you obey God's Word? Are you doing God's work? Is God helping you do important things?" (1 Corinthians 4:20, The B-I-B-L-E).
Jesus said, "Copy me. I came from heaven. But I did not come here for you to do something for me. No way! I came here to do something for you. I came here to let others kill me. All people have done bad things. All people are far away from God. God is ready to punish them. But I came to take people's punishment. I came to make the way for people to be right with God" (Mark 10:45, The B-I-B-L-E).
