Thanksgiving

"Always have a thankful heart. No matter what happens, keep on being thankful. That is what God wants you to do. You are part of God’s family. You are trusting in Jesus. So that is what God wants you to do"
(1 Thessalonians 5:18, The B-I-B-L-E).

Jesus made the way for us to be right with God.

"I am the God-man. I did not come for you to do something for me. I came to do something for you. You have done bad things. God is ready to punish you. But I came to take your punishment. I came to take your place. I came to give my life. I came to make the way for you to be right with God" (Matthew 20:28, The B-I-B-L-E).

Progress report

For those of you who are following the progress on The B-I-B-L-E, I want to tell you that I am moving forward well. I now have about 83% of the New Testament either already published or in rough draft. My goal is to print the whole New Testament as a volume. Please pray for the Lord's guidance and blessing on this work. May the Lord receive glory and may many children grow to know God better and better through this work.

God's great plan for your life

"I am your God. I have a great plan for you. I will do good things for you. I will not hurt you. My plan is the best. Good things will happen to you. You can count on that. You can trust in me. You can have hope. Then you will pray to me. And I will listen. Do you really want to know me? Do you really want to be close to me? Are you trying hard to do what is right? Then you will find me. Then you will be close to me" (Jeremiah 29:11-13, The B-I-B-L-E).

God's free gift

"Sin is not the ruler of your life anymore. God made you free from sin. Now you have a new ruler of your life. Now you want to obey God. You want to do what is right. You want to make God happy. You want to live forever with God in heaven. If you sin, what will happen? You will be punished. But God wants to give you a way out. God wants to give you a gift. It is a free gift. Jesus died for our sins. He took our punishment. He wants to make you right with God. He wants to forgive your sins. He wants to give you eternal life. He wants you to live with him in heaven forever"
(Romans 6:22-23, The B-I-B-L-E).

Easy to read

I love to hear reports of kids who are reading The B-I-B-L-E.
They are finding it easy to read, and they are understanding and reacting to God's Word. One girl told me that school has been very hard for her. She never liked to read. Her teacher told her she needed to read with her mom every day. It was always a chore. But her grandmother gave her The B-I-B-L-E. She is reading it with pleasure. Now she reminds her mom that it is time to read. Let others know about this important resource for children and early readers.

How to be right with God

"Everyone has done bad things. God will punish sin. But God made the way to be right with him. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He is ready to forgive us. We need to trust in Jesus. We need to do what is right. Then God will take our sins away. Then we will not be in trouble anymore. God will not punish us. We will be right with God. He will say we are good" (Romans 8:1, The B-I-B-L-E).
