I tried very hard

"I used to think that I had to obey all of the rules. I used to think that was the way to be right with God. But I could never obey all of the rules. I could never be right with God that way. God was not happy with me. My old self tried to obey the rules. My old self said that was the way to be right with God. I tried very hard. But I did not make God happy. God showed me that way does not work. So I asked Jesus to forgive my sins. I am trusting in Jesus. He made the way for me to be right with God. My old self died. It is not the ruler of my life anymore. Jesus gave me a new life. Jesus is the ruler of my new life"
(Galatians 2:19, The B-I-B-L-E).

God's Word will make you strong

"A tree has roots. The roots bring up food for the tree. The roots hold the tree strong. You need to be like that. You need to keep on trusting in Jesus. You need to keep on learning to know God better and better. God's Word will make you strong. God's Word will help you do what is right. God does lots of good things for you. Be super thankful. Always keep on telling God 'thank you'"

Jesus is always on our side

"People are far away from God. They cannot save themselves. Only Jesus can save them. They need to trust in Jesus. They need to be sorry for their sins. Then they will be right with God. Jesus is in heaven. Jesus is always asking God to bless us. Jesus is always asking God to help us. Jesus is always asking God to make us strong to do what is right. Jesus is always asking God to help us say 'no' to bad things. Jesus is always on our side"

That is why I am careful about how I live"

Jesus shows us what God the Father is like

"Jesus is awesome. Jesus is perfect. Everything about Jesus is good. Jesus shows us what God the Father is like. They are always together. God the Father is God. And Jesus is God. Jesus takes care of everything that he made. He keeps things in their right place. He is stronger than anything. That is how he can hold the world together. Jesus died on the cross. He never did any sins. He died for our sins. He took our punishment. He made the way for us to be right with God. Jesus finished that job. Then he went back to heaven. He is with God the Father. Now Jesus is in the important place in heaven. Jesus is awesome" (Hebrews 1:3, The B-I-B-L-E).

Only say helpful words

"Do not say bad words. Do not say mean words. Do not hurt others with your words. Only say good words. Only say helpful words. Only say words that make God happy. Then your words will help others feel better. Then your words will help others be closer to God. Then others will have a happy heart."
