Nehemiah challenged the people to take on a big and important job. And they were all ready to go for it!"But then I was ready to talk to them. I said, 'You know about Jerusalem. You know it is a mess. You know the walls are all broken down. You know the gates are burned. Come on! Let’s build the walls! Then the other people cannot say that we are no good!' I told them how God was helping me. I told them what I said to the king. I told them how kind the king was. They said right away, 'Yes! Let’s go for it! Let’s build the wall!' So they started to do that important work" (Nehemiah 2:17-18, The B-I-B-L-E).
