"Our sin makes us be far away from God. But the Good News tells us how we can be right with God. It tells us how we can be close to God. I will tell you how you can be saved. You need to know God is true. You need to trust in God. That is called faith. God’s Word tells us how that works: 'We need to trust in God. We need to have faith. Then we can be right with God. Then God will give us a new life. He will be the ruler of our new life. We need to do what is right. We will have eternal life. We can live forever with God' "(Romans 1:17, The B-I-B-L-E).
