"We talk about faith. What does that word mean? Well, we can hope that a good thing will happen. But faith is not just hoping. Faith is being sure! If we have faith, then we are sure that the good thing will happen. Faith is not just wishing for something. Faith is being sure! Faith is being sure that something will happen. We do not have that good thing yet. We cannot see that good thing yet. But we are sure that it will happen. You need to trust in God. You need to have faith in God. That is the only way to make God happy. Do you want to be close to God? Then you need to know that he is real. You need to know that he is true. You need to know that he will pay attention to you. You need to know that he will come close to you"(Hebrews 11:1,6, The B-I-B-L-E).
